Eymet, 20mins south of Bergerac – a personal favourite and close to our office. The restaurant is excellent and should be Michelin-starred by now! Our top recommendation if you are just adults, are looking for a simple base but enjoy excellent food.

Located amongst the rolling hills just south of Bergerac, La Chartreuse de Bignac offers a warm French welcome to the Perigord. The Chatreuse itself is a great example of luxurious yet sympathetic restoration of a XVIIth C manor house, and the food is delicious Perigordine fayre. Highly recommended for couples after a relaxing stay in a country setting.
