The Chateau is set just outside a small village with bar/restaurant in the north Lot et Garonne. It is a short 10 minute drive to the larger town of Villeneuve sur Lot and 50 minutes to Bergerac with the Dordogne River, its old town and Quay. The area in general has many beautiful bastide towns to explore and is a part of France renowned for its gastronomy, the daily morning markets are a must for the visitor as well as all the local restaurants that cater for pretty much every budget and style.
