Grounds

The land holding extends to approx 300 hectares of exceptionally beautiful countryside, comprising; open meadow / parkland; managed farmland; woodlands; formal gardens.

The Estate also includes some 4 km of Vezere River frontage, and has within the grounds a number of caves, some of which were previously inhabited by troglodytes and ‘classified’ accordingly. Much of the woodlands remain in ‘virgin condition’ and along with the remainder of the Estate have not been hunted over for more than two decades, replete with all manner of game birds and wild animals, including deer, wild boar, geese, ducks and nesting birds of prey.
